Since the Alpine Ski Championships in Styrian Schladming in 1982, Schubert Elektroanlagen has handled the installation of electrical, measurement and monitoring equipment in snowmaking and track illumination systems. Our years of expertise and service centers in Tyrol and Salzburg ensure tailor-made solutions and optimum support on site.

The 2SNOW  brand sees the combination of 2 renowned manufacturers in the artificial snowmaking sector, Schubert Elektroanlagen and Bächler TOP TRACK AG with the objective of being the first ones when it begins to snow – and with double the snow quantity at the limit temperature range.

Innovative electrical and control technology by Schubert Elektroanlagen combined with the Swiss precision work of snow lance manufacturer Bächler TOP TRACK AG produces snow lances with know-how.

2SNOW  sets the benchmark thanks to its double-headed MEDUSA snow lances with the clear objective of starting the snowing process as soon as possible by using the short snowing window. In addition, 2SNOW  snow lances allow for energy-saving and quiet snow production.

2SNOW offers:

  • Begins snowing at -1.5-degree wet bulb temperature
  • Up to 150 cubic meters of snow per hour
  • Single and double-head lances
  • Lances with 0 energy consumption (electric) – Zero E

Building know-how is one thing. Implementing this experience in products and solutions for snowmaking is another.

Schubert Elektroanlagen is able to directly implement this acquired knowledge into optimum software solutions thanks to its in-house software development. Continuous development of software solutions is the main focus.

Our software specialist covers all areas of artificial snowmaking. This starts with controlling the pumping and cooling stations, reservoir monitoring to controlling the snowmakers.

Schubert control systems depend on the use of open communication protocols. This is a great advantage for customers, since this makes it seamlessly possible to connect it to existing systems.

Superordinate control and visualization systems allow for optimized operation of the entire artificial snowmaking system – from the water catchment to the snowmakers and shafts at the end of the snow section. Controlling and visualizing external snowmakers as well as proprietary 2SNOW snowmakers using the Schubert Control System are a fundamental part of our philosophy.

Apart from great control system applications, web visualization offers a true alternative for smaller ski resorts or expanding sections. Images and data can be retrieved over the internet with password protection.

A big emphasis on customer service:

Remote maintenance over the internet is naturally a part of Schubert’s control and management systems, since operational security is the top priority.

A standalone service group in the software department receives faults and works directly on solving them.

If remote support is not enough, our service center in Tyrol guarantees ideal on-site support and a short response time. Our specially-trained employees also meet the standards for norm-compliant, repeat safety inspections in artificial snowmaking systems, which is necessary for the reissuing of water rights.
